Babies' Lives Saved By Dobbs Decision
A recent detailed report from the Institute of Labor Economics found that approximately 32,000 babies were saved (allowed to be born) as a result of the Dobbs decision which overturned Roe v. Wade in June of 2022. The study concluded that birth-rates increased by 2.3% since the decision was made in 2022.
That is fantastic news! What is more astounding is that birth among non-white women have increased roughly 25-100%. According to the research, it states:
“When comparing the SDID estimates across race and ethnicity groups, we observe that fertility rates increased by 3, 3.8, and 4.7 percent for non-Hispanic White, non-Hispanic Black, and Hispanic women, respectively. However, the estimated effects for births to Black women are non-statistically significant at a conventional level. Nonetheless, these differential effects are consistent with the findings of previous studies that indicate the impacts of abortion restrictions on fertility are stronger for non-White women.”
Notice, though, the fact that births from non-white women have increased significantly. Planned Parenthood has from the beginning of its existence, targeted ethnic women who are non-white. It has been their plan all along to kill non-white babies. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margret Sanger said, “Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.”
The data shows that black and Hispanic communities have been targeted, and the Dobbs decision has clearly saved lives. This is the point and importance of law; it is a teacher and necessary to curb bad behavior and bad actions. After nearly 50 years of legalization of one of the most barbaric policies permitted in our nation, five justices stood strong and reversed a decision that has now already shown to save tens of thousands of lives.
However, the fight to save the unborn is not over. Pro-life legislation needs to pass nationally. We have a responsibility as a nation to protect life, it is the duty of the civil government to do so. The spirit of the Constitution demands such protections of life, as well as the natural law (i.e., God’s moral law).
This research is wonderful news. It is worthy of our celebration. We ought to praise the Lord for such a victory and many more to come.
